Video: Alexander Gustafsson vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua UFC on FOX 5 highlights

In the co-main event we saw the future defeat a legend.

Alexander Gustafsson did not finish Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, but he did batter him for the entire three rounds and took home the decisive victory. In fact so decisive, one judge gave it a 30-26 score, the other two 30-27’s.

The victory marked his sixth in a row and puts his record at an astounding 15-1. His lone loss comes to his current training partner Phil Davis. At the post-fight press conference Gustafsson said he would like a title shot and feels like he deserves it, but if he doesn’t want to wait until the summer to fight again.

UFC on FOX 5 went down from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington.
