Although it ended in controversial fashion, Benson Henderson took home the judges decision over Gilbert Melendez in the main event at UFC on FOX 7.
The two combatants battered and bruised each other for the entire five rounds. The closely contested battle was back and forth with both men utilizing their skill-sets to their advantage.
At the end of the day you have to beat the champ to be the champ and on two of the judges scorecards Henderson did enough to retain his title.
