There have been plenty of MMA films that made the attempt on the big screen, the only one that even had a little bit of success was ‘Warrior’. However, Kevin James, who is a long time fan of the UFC and mixed martial arts is bringing his A game in the newest MMA film on the block, ‘Here Comes the Boom!’.
The film stars the aforementioned Kevin James, as well as the beautiful Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.
The movie’s premise is about a high school biology teacher, who moonlights as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school’s music program. Plenty of MMA stars also make appearances in the film, such as, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, Wanderlei Silva, Chael Sonnen and Arianny Celeste.
‘Here Comes the Boom’ is expected to be released on October 12, 2012.
