Vitor Belfort Out, Wanderlei Silva In vs. Cung Le

UFC President Dana White tweeted today “Vitor is injured and out of San Jose fight. Now Cung Le will fight Wandy!”

The UFC is really not giving Le an easy first fight in the octagon. He went from one striking beast to another.

The Strikeforce veteran has not fought since June of 2010 where he beat Scott Smith with an impressive spinning back kick. Le holds an 7-1 record with his only loss coming at the hands of Scott Smith.

Silva is coming off a very quick KO loss to Chris Leben at UFC 132. Silva has not looked like the same old ‘Axe Murderer’ as of late, but expect fireworks in this fight.

Le will look to solidify his status as a middleweight contender and Silva will look to keep his career going.
