With Jo out, Yuki Motoya has been given a replacement by RIZIN FF

The new fight was announced at a press conference held by Rizin FF in Japan on Monday.

Motoya (15-4) is the current DEEP flyweight champion and is currently riding a seven-fight win streak. His last loss came in late-2013 when he was defeated by Tatsumitsu Wada via decision. Motoya submitted him almost exactly one year later.

22-year-old Brazilian Felipe Efrain (9-2) fights out of a Chute Boxe affiliate and is coming off a loss to Tim Elliot at Titan FC 35 in a championship bout. In August of 2014, Efrain won the X-Fight MMA flyweight title. He has yet to defend it, or even fight for the promotion since.

This bout will take place on December 29 at RIZIN 1 in Japan.
