Zuffa releases latest Twitter bonuses; Benson Henderson and Joe Duarte score $10k

Earlier today UFC officials released their latest winners for the quarterly Twitter bonuses.

The big winners this quarter were UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson and “The Ultimate Fighter 8” cast member Joe Duarte. Each were awarded for two categories, “most followers” and “biggest percentage growth in followers” and received a $10,000 bonus.

The awards are handed out quarterly and are divided into three different categories.

$5,000 winners in the “most followers” category:

UFC 148 headliner Chael Sonnen (@SonnenCh)
TUF 8’s Joe Duarte (@JoeDuarteMMA)

$5,000 winners in the “biggest percentage growth in followers” category:

Zuffa put the social media bonuses in to place in 2011 and rewarded applicable UFC and Strikeforce fighters.
