At UFC Fight Night 26, Chael Sonnen did exactly what he planned on doing – he finished the fight against former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the very first round.

The Brazilians call out Chael Sonnen after his UFC Fight Night 26 victory

Sonnen took the fight to the mat immediately and threw some great ground and pound. When the two made their way back to the feet late in the first round, Sonnen was able to snatch up a deep guillotine choke, pull guard and force Shogun to tap out.

Following the fight, Sonnen called out another Brazilian, Wanderlei Silva in his post-fight speech with Joe Rogan.

“Three months, you and the bad guy!”

After hearing that, yet another Brazilian on Sonnen’s radar took to Twitter to stake his claim against the former three-time divisional contender.

Silva and Belfort aren’t the only two Brazilians to call out Sonnen. Another former champ, Lyoto Machida also took to Twitter to call him out.
