In the main event former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua took on Chael Sonnen in a battle for the ages.
Sonnen immediately took Shogun down to the mat, but Shogun was able to get back to his feet and get a takedown of his own. Sonnen looked for a guillotine choke, but the two made their way back to their feet and Sonnen grinded the fight right back to the ground. Sonnen landed some great ground and pound from “Shogun’s” guard midway through the round. The two got to their feet, Sonnen nabbed a guillotine, pulled guard and forced Shogun to tap.

Following the fight, Sonnen called out Wanderlei Silva, “three months, you and the bad guy” in his post-fight speech with Joe Rogan.
