Two explosive strikers are set to square off at UFC 168 when John Howard and Siyar Bahadurzada face off at UFC 168.

UFC officials confirmed the bout earlier today.

John Howard vs. Siyar Bahadurzada announced for UFC 168

John “Doomsday” Howard (21-8) is currently on his second stint with the UFC. After succesfully defeating TUF 17 wrecking machine Uriah Hall in his last fight, Howard will be looking to continue his winning ways. Will he get that next victory over Bahadurzada?

Siyar “The Great” Bahadurzada (21-5-1) entered the UFC to a great deal of hooplah, but has yet to completely capitalize on the hype. Last seen in a losing effort against Dong Hyun Kim, the Afgham fighter will be looking to right his ship. Can he do that with a win over Howard?

UFC 168 goes down Dec. 28th live from the MGM Grand Garde Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The main event is a Middleweight Title bout featuring champion Chris Weidman rematching dethroned former kingpin Anderson Silva.
