Final line-up in for PXC 42, plethora of international competitors make up fight card

PXC 42 takes place February 28th at the UOG Fieldhouse in Guam. The night’s main card, which features a headlining 145-lbs title bout between reigning champ Jang Yong Kim (7-5-1) and challenger Toby Misech (4-2), is expected to stream online, free-of-charge, on Livesport.

Officials confirmed the final running order on Tuesday.

Jang Yong Kim defends his Featherweight belt for the first time since pulling off a shock submission victory over Mark Striegl in his previous outing. One of many talented fighters from the Korean Top Team ranks, Kim, 29, is currently riding on a 4-1 run after a Jekyll and Hyde sort of start to his career.

Misech, meanwhile, earned his title shot after back-to-back stoppage victories over Sung Hwan Cho and Yusuke Yachi under the PXC banner. All four of the Hawaiian’s victories have ended via TKO/KO.

The night’s card will be co-featured by an intriguing Featherweight bill between Frank Camacho (11-2) and former UFC vet, Keita Nakamura (26-5-2, 1 NC). PXC vet Camacho, a Lloyd Irvin protege, looks to build on his current two-fight win streak while Nakamura makes his promotional debut on the back of six consecutive victories.

In other featured contests, Yusuke Yachi (10-4) battles knockout artist Kyle Reyes (4-1), while Kailin Curran (2-0) makes her return to the PXC cage in a 115-lbs clash with South Korea’s Yoo Jin Jung (0-0).
