UFC International Fight Week returns July 1-6 in Las Vegas

|

While you may not have the luxury of personally attending one of the biggest Mixed Martial Arts competitions in the world, the Ultimate Fighting Championship produced UFC International Fight Week, which takes place July 1-6 in Las Vegas. Fans will have ample opportunities to have a punt, thanks to the attention the event receives from sports fans around the world and hence online bookmakers who are always ready to serve up some MMA action to the wagering public.

If you are relatively new to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, and by that we mean as a punter, because we have only admiration for the participants and would never presume to be able to be capable of offering advice of anything other than dubious value, you might want to avail yourself of the many free betting opportunities that online bookmakers offer as sign-up bonuses to new members and customer appreciation rewards to existing members.

Using free bets gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with MMA without the risk of losing your own money in a sport where underdogs and favourites can reverse roles in fractions of a second.

A typical visit to one of the online bookmakers’ websites will often offer more than a dozen markets from which to choose. The big contests will feature some close odds, since the promoters do everything in their power to avoid mismatches that would increase the already considerable danger inherent in the sport of MMA.

International Fight Week is the lead up to one of the most anticipated events of the year, UFC 175. In the main event, Chris Weidman returns to the Octagon against the former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida for the UFC middleweight title.

Also featured on the July 5 fight card is the UFC women’s bantamweight championship, as Ronda Rousey takes on Canadian Alexis Davis in the night’s co-main event.

If you are planning the trip to Vegas for fight week, you might as well take in the International Fight Week activities as well.
