With many middleweight fights booked, Machida vs. Dollaway a possibility for Dec. 20

Several top 15 middleweights have fights or are coming off of recent fights, so the UFC has plans for Lyoto Machida and C.B. Dollaway —  Put them in the cage together.

Although nothing is booked, Machida vs. Dollaway is a possibility for a Fight Night event just before the year ends.

With many middleweight fights booked, Machida vs. Dollaway a possibility for Dec. 20

Machida (21-5), is coming off of a loss to current champion Chris Weidman last July in the main event of UFC 175.  He earned his title shot by winning two straight over Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousasi after moving down from the light heavyweight division.

Dollaway (16-6), has been on a roll in 2014 winning two straight, which rebounded him from a split decision loss over Tim Boestch last year.  He knocked out Cezar Ferreira and won a decision against Francis Carmont earlier this year.

No exact location or venue has been announced for the Dec. 20 bout, but it is expected to take place in Brazil.  If Machida vs. Dollaway is confirmed for the event, it would likely serve as main event.
