Two former Ultimate Fighter’s will go to battle against each other at UFC 153 in Rio.
The winner of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil, Rony Jason will take on Ultimate Fighter Live cast member Sam Sicilia.
UFC officials announced the match-up on Wednesday.
Rony Jason (11-3) won the first ever TUF Brasil when he defeated Godofredo Pepey at last month’s UFC 147 card. He was a part of Team Silva and is currently on a 6 fight winning streak.
Sam Sicilia (11-1) is also on quite the winning streak, currently at 7. He did not fair so well on the reality show, however in his UFC debut at the TUF Live Finale, the Dominick Cruz team member defeated Cristiano Marcello by KO in the second round.
UFC 153 will go down on October 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is expected to be headlined by a featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Erik Koch.
