Ulysses Gomez has long been a favorite of the Tachi Palace Fights organization adding their bantamweight and flyweight championships to his mantle but now he has the chance to tangle with the big boys in the UFC, well, maybe they’re not big boys but you get what I mean.
Gomez makes his promotional debut as a heavy favorite tomorrow night when he meets John Moraga and you could be the owner of his fight shorts while contributing to cancer along the way.
Rob Mooberry, a personal friend of Gomez has been diagnosed with cancer in his colon, bladder and lymph nodes. As you can imagine to deal with an aggressive cancer that’s spreading at this extent doesn’t come cheap.
If you go here you can donate to Mooberry’s cancer fund, every $5 puts your name in the hat once, so for instance if you donate $100 that will enter you 20 times.
Gomez will video tape the footage as he pulls the names out of the hat to determine the winner, best of luck to anyone that participates.
