A bantamweight match-up between Scott Jorgensen and John Albert is slated for UFC on FOX 5 in December. John “Prince” Albert announced the match on Thursday via his twitter page.
“That’s right everyone I’m fighting super tough @Scottjorgensen in my home town of Seattle Wa gonna be one hell of a (sic) bar burner stay tuned”
“I feel so lucky getting the opportunity to fight such tough high ranked fighters it’s exactly what I want and brings the best out of me.”
Albert (7-3) is 0-2 since defeating Dustin Pague at the finale for The Ultimate Fighter 14. He is in desperate need of a victory, because three in a row is not a good thing inside the octagon.
Jorgensen (13-6) has also dropped his last two fights, at the hands of Eddie Wineland and current interim champ Renan Barao.
The fight will most likely be part of the preliminary portion of the UFC on FOX 5 card. The fifth FOX installment will be on December 8th from Seattle’s Key Arena.
