UFC officials have confirmed a Middleweight match-up pitting Nick Ring (13-1) against Cypriot Constantinos Philippou [11-2(1)] at UFC 154, an event which goes down on November 17th at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
Philippou has amassed 4 back-to-back victories in the octagon following his promotional debut loss against Nick Catone at UFC 128 in New Jersey. The 32-year-old was unbeaten in 8 professional fights, prior to that set-back.
His opponent, Nick Ring, is 3-1 under the UFC banner thus far defeating the likes of Riki Fukuda and Court McGee. Fighting out of Champions Creed in Calgary, Alberta, Ring was a cast in Season 11 of the UFC’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ series.
