Troyer is coming off a three fight win streak that has seen him stop his last two opponents via rear-naked choke. Novikov is fresh from a unanimous decision win in April of this year. With Novikov’s fights having only gone the distance twice in an 18 bout career, both of these fighters are looking for a quick finish to make their mark on the global stage.
SFL 8 follows an exciting night of finishes which made up SFL 7. Only one match went the distance in a card which saw rising UK welterweight star Michael ‘Venom’ Page destroy Egypt’s Haitham Tantawy.
