Rory MacDonald a -300 favorite over BJ Penn at UFC on FOX 5

|

UFC on FOX 5 is as stacked a card as they come. If no injuries occur, the fans of Seattle will definitely be in for a treat.

One of the standout bouts on the main FOX card is a welterweight bout between Rory “Ares” MacDonald and BJ “The Prodigy” Penn.

MacDonald’s (13-1) lone loss in his career came at the hands of former Interim UFC Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit at UFC 115. Since that fight he has won three in a row against Nate Diaz, Mike Pyle and Che Mills. The last two came via wicked TKO’s.

Penn is one of the most dominating fighters to ever grace the Octagon, but having gone 1-3-1 in his last five fights he is coming into this one an underdog.

“Ares” opens as a -300 favorite, while Penn is a +230 underdog. To place a bet on who you think will win at UFC on FOX 5 head over to SportsBetting.ag.

Penn is looking for redemption against one of Tristar’s best up and coming fighters. He is coming off the loss to Nick Diaz at UFC 137 in which he immediately announced his retirement. Look for a motivated Penn to grace the cage on December 8 in Seattle.
