Earlier this week the UFC confirmed that the organization would head back across the pond to London, England for UFC on FUEL TV 7. A featherweight bout between former contender Josh Grispi and Andy Ogle was first reported by Fighters Only.
While the UFC has yet to officially announce the fight, Ogle hinted to it on his Twitter account.
Grispi (14-4) was considered one of the top contenders in the 145lbs division under the WEC banner. He was on a ten fight winning streak coming into the UFC, but has since gone on a three fight losing streak. He is looking for a much needed win against Ogle.
Ogle (8-2) was a contestant on “TUF 15” after going on a seven fight winning streak. He lost his semi-final match-up to Al Iaquinta, but was still expected to fight in the finals. However, he was unable to compete because he wasn’t medically cleared. In his UFC debut, he lost a close split-decision to Akira Corassani at UFC on FUEL TV 5.
