UFC cuts Neer, Jardine, Fodor and Manley

|

The UFC has decreased their roster yet again. This time they have released four fighters from their roster which included, Josh Neer, Brock Jardine, Caros Fodor and Jon Manley.

MMA Opinion which is a British News Source first brought word of the cuts.

Neer (33-13-1) hit that brutal three fight losing skid after riding an impressive six-fight winning streak. “The Dentist” most recently fell short to Court McGee at UFC 157. This is the third time Neer has been released from the organization.

Jardine (9-3) came into the UFC riding a three fight winning streak and only one loss on his record. Unfortunate for “The Machine” he hit some stiff competition and lost his only two UFC fights. Most recently he lost to Kenny Robertson at UFC 157.

Fodor (7-3) came into the UFC when they brought over Strikeforce talent, but the man known as “The Future” didn’t get much of a shot inside the Octagon. He was released from the organization after losing to Sam Stout in his first UFC appearance at UFC 157.

Manley (7-2) also only had one shot inside the UFC’s famous Octagon, wel sort of. He was a semi-finalist on season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter and was given a shot at UFC 157, however he fell short at the hands of fellow TUF 16 semi-finalist Neil Magny.

All four of the fighters released fought at UFC 157 which took place on February 23 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
