UFC 160 went down last from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and fans were treated to some fantastic fights.
As always the UFC hands out Fight Night bonuses and they definitely had some options on this card.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos put himself that much closer to earning another crack at the title with an impressive knockout win over Mark Hunt in the co-main event. That fight earned the two combatants “Fight of the Night” honors.
In the lightweight division, title implications were on the line and that didn’t seem to affect Canadian T.J. Grant’s ability to perform. Grant was able to weather an early storm from Gray Maynard and pull out a beautiful combination to finish the fight. Grant took home “Knockout of the Night” for his efforts.
Glover Teixeira was awarded “Submission of the Night” for his slick first round guillotine choke against James Te Huna in their bout. The bonus was a no brainer for the organization as it was the only submission on the card.
