Eddie Yagin cleared to train after traumatic brain injury

Eddie “The Filipino Phenom” Yagin (16-5-1) suffered a subdural hematoma in November of 2012, while training for a bout with Dennis Siver that had been scheduled for UFC on Fox 5. After waking up one day with an intense headache, and being unable to keep down fluids, Yagin went to the hospital where the brain injury was diagnosed. While he was able to avoid surgery, the doctors advised “The Filipino Phenom” to take six months off in order to properly and fully recover. MMASucka would like to congratulate Yagin on his recovery and return to competition, and wish him luck in his next fight.
