Video: Nassau County honor’s UFC middleweight champ Chris Weidman
Nassau County in Long Island, New York has honored the new UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman with his very own ‘day’.
They streamed the event on USTREAM (which you can watch below) and declared July 17th ‘Chris Weidman Day’ in Nassau County.
Weidman (10-0) most recently fought at UFC 162 where he defeated the number one pound for pound fighter Anderson Silva to become the middleweight title holder. After fighting his first four fights under the Ring of Combat banner, he has gone on a six-fight winning streak inside the UFC Octagon.
