Reza Madadi convicted of aggravated burglary, given prison time

UFC lightweight Reza “Mad Dog” Madadi, who was arrested in connection with a “smash and grab” style robbery from upscale Swedish boutique, Bottega Veneta, in May of this year.  He has now been found guilty of aggravated burglary in relation to his role in the theft, and has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Madadi (13-3) is a lightweight who has gone 2-1 in the UFC, with his last fight being a submission victory over Michael Johnson at UFC on Fuel TV 9. The UFC has yet to release an official statement on this matter. Stay tuned to MMASucka.com for more on this, and other MMA news.
