In the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 28 Yushin Okami and Ronaldo Souza squared off inside the Octagon.
Jacare pounds through Yushin Okami in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 28
Souza swarmed on Jacare against the cage after a stuffed takedown and through some big power punches at a feverish pace. The referee was looking to step in, but Jacare was just hitting gloves. With just over two-minutes left Souza landed a big right hook that put Okami on his back and finished the fight with some heavy ground and pound.
The former Strikeforce champion proved that he is more than just a BJJ practitioner. Jacare was upset during his post-fight speech because he couldn’t do his traditional Jacare crawl following the victory due to a sore knee.
