Dana White announces Alexander Gustafsson vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira for 2014 London card
Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson (15-2) was last seen giving Jon Jones the fight of his life at UFC 165 in Toronto, Ontario. After losing the slightly controversial decision, and then losing out on an immediate rematch in favor of a new challenger (Glover Teixiera), the well-rounded Gustafsson will now be looking to work his way back to another title shot. Will he take that first step with a win over “Little Nog?”
Antonio Rogerio “Minotoro” Nogueira (21-5), the smaller twin brother of UFC heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira, is on his way back to contention in the light heavyweight division. With a decision win over Rashad Evans in his first fight back from injury in 2013, “Little Nog” will be hoping to build on his current 2 fight win streak and make a case for a title shot of his own. Will he be able to do so against former challenger Gustafsson?
