A heavyweight fight has been set for UFC on FOX 10, as Gabriel Gonzaga squares off against Stipe Miocic.
UFC officials confirmed the match-up after Cleveland.com broke the news.
Gabriel Gonzaga and Stipe Miocic collide in heavyweight battle at UFC on FOX 10
Gabriel Gonzaga (16-7) has knocked out his last two opponents. After losing to Travis Browne at the TUF 17 Finale, “Napao” got back on track with a knockout of Dave Herman at UFC 162 and most recently Shawn Jordan at UFC 166.
Miocic (10-1) bounced back from the first loss of his career to Stefan Struve at UFC on FUEL TV 5 with a decision victory against Roy Nelson at UFC 161. The Croatian made his UFC debut back in late 2011 and he has built up a 4-1 record inside the Octagon.
UFC on FOX 10 goes down on January 25 at the United Center in Chicago and the main event is between former lightweight champion Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson.
