WSOF 7: Nick Newell forces Sabah Fadai to tap out with early guillotine choke

Newell shot for a takedown, but Fadai was able to get back to the feet. Newell immediately grabbed the single leg, but when they got to their feet Newell sunk in a deep guillotine choke for the finish.

“He had words. I didn’t have any words. I just wanted to fight.

“We just work on things. We don’t come with a huge, like, ‘If this happens,’ or, ‘If this happens.’ You know the famous quote: Everybody’s got a plan until they get hit in the face. We just work on things, and it becomes second nature. They become instinct, and then I go out there, and I do them.

“I think you know there’s a vacant belt out there. We’ve got two guys fighting for it, and I think everybody knows who’s next.”
