The news of Uscola’s sentencing was reported earlier today by Sacramento, CA’s KXTV News 10.

This was not Uscola’s first brush with the law, as a 2011 domestic assault saw him arrested and kicked out of Team Alpha Male by then-head coach Urijah Faber. Faber told News 10,

As soon as the first incident happened, Kyacey was no longer allowed to be a part of the team. He came in; he seemed to be on track for a little bit. But I think he has those demons. It was really heartbreaking to hear. Kyacey has to be a man for what he’s done.

Kyacey Uscola appeared on Season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter, losing to Rich Antonito by disqualification in the first round, and to Kris McCray in the wildcard round. His last fight was in February 2013, where he was defeated by Jason South in what was his 8th consecutive loss.
