Eye and Kaufman battled for the full fifteen minutes and left it in the judges hands. In the end, judges Ruben Najera and Jon Schorle both scored the bout in favor or Eye 29-28, with judge Gino Garcia gave Kaufman the bout 29-28. When all was said and done Eye took home the split decision victory.

On Saturday, with no explanation, the Texas Commission has decided to overturn the fight to a “no decision.” Sherdog.com was first to bring word of the decision.

Kaufman revealed the news via her official Twitter account and you could say she was excited.

UFC 166 went down on October 19 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event featured Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos for the UFC heavyweight championship.
