In the first round, Andrade landed a takedown early, but wasn’t able to anything substantial.
Nico Musoke scores Unanimous Decision victory over Viscardi Andrade
As the striking exchanges continued, Andrade landed a huge overhand right that sent Musoke crashing to the canvas. He celebrated, but Musoke wasn’t out, and the referee didn’t stop it. It was a tightly contested round with perhaps Andrade edging the scorecards.
The second round saw both fighters trading methodically on their feet in the opening stages, but Musoke turned it up a notch as a barrage of strikes had Andrade hurt, allowing the Swede to capitalize with a takedown. Musoke ended the frame with top control whilst landing some really effective ground-and-pound. It was now probably a round each heading into round 3.
Musoke finished the fight strongly though as once he had Andrade’s back, he was content with just establishing control and position.
Final Result: Nico Musoke def. Viscardi Andrade via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
