Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva was expected to be out for quite some time after breaking his leg in the rematch with Chris Weidman at UFC 168. On January 10, UFC President Dana White gave an update on Silva’s recovery and said he would be walking without crutches in 30-days.

Just over one-month after that update, Silva himself took to Twitter with a somewhat surprising photo.

The translation in English reads, ‘I’m back.’ This is quite the feat for someone who is not expected to fight at all in 2014 due to the severity of the injury.
