Drysdale (6-0) was expected to make his debut at UFC 163, unfortunately a severe staph infection forced him to withdraw from action. He was then rebooked at UFC 167, but was denied fighter’s license due to elevated testosterone levels.

Drysdale is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has won his fair share of BJJ medals, but has yet to taste MMA gold. As mentioned above he began his MMA career back in 2010 when he fought in the then British Columbia based promotion AFC where he defeated Bastien Huveneers. He went on to fight two more times for AFC and then continued his fight game with Legacy FC. Most recently he defeated D.J. Linderman at Legacy FC 19 in April. All six of his victories come via first round submission.

Berish (5-0) will also be making his UFC debut. Holding a perfect 5-0 professional record, with only one of his victories coming by way of decision, he has finished every other opponent in the very first round. Most recently Berish fought for the Ring of Combat promotion, where he defeated Ariel Sepulveda by first round rear naked choke in January.

The TUF 19 Finale goes down on Sunday July 6 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Headlining the event is a featherweight tussle between coaches Frankie Edgar and B.J. Penn.
