Lightweights Joe Ellenberger and Bryan Barberena will take to the Octagon at UFC on FOX 13 in Phoenix this December.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Thursday morning.
Ellenberger (15-1) made his UFC debut in June and earned a very close split decision victory against James Moontasri. The twin brother of Jake started his pro career on a 12-fight winning streak, which was snapped in 2011 with a decision loss to Justin Salas. He has since gone on a three-fight winning streak.
Barberena (9-2) is riding a six-fight winning streak coming into his UFC debut. The 25-year-old most recently TKO’d Eric Moon at a King of the Cage event earlier this year.
No word as to where the Ellenberger vs. Barberena bout will take place on the evening’s fight card.
UFC on FOX 13 goes down on December 13 from the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Other bouts announced are Stefan Struve vs. Alistair Overeem, Ed Herman vs. Derek Brunson and Drew Dober vs. Jamie Varner.
