At UFC 181, Robbie Lawler defeated Johny Hendricks by split decision to earn himself the 170-pound gold. In 2013 he made the switch from Miletich Fighting Systems to Florida’s American Top Team and has since gone 6-1, which includes the welterweight championship title.

Robbie Lawler offers CM Punk home at American Top Team

On Monday, “Ruthless” opened up to the new boy in town, CM Punk and offered him a home at American Top Team.

American Top Team is located in Coconut Creek, Florida and is led by Ricardo Liborio, Conan Silveira and Marcelo Silveira. Lawler is the team’s first champion, but it is home to the likes of: Jessica Aguilar, Thiago Alves, Marcus Brimage, Yves Edwards, Mark Hunt, Cole Miller, Dustin Poirier, Ben Saunders and more.

In Punk’s interview with Joe Rogan, he stated that he was unsure of where he would be training for his Octagon debut.
