Immediately following the UFC’s December, 2014 signing of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Bellator claimed he was still under contract.
Bellator ‘pleased by judge’s ruling’ in Rampage case
On March 2, Bellator filed a lawsuit to prevent Jackson from fighting at UFC 186 and today the organization seem very pleased with the outcome.
The following was released by Bellator on Tuesday morning.
“We are pleased by the judge’s ruling and look forward to having Rampage fighting for Bellator again soon.”
Jackson (34-11) is expected to face Fabio Maldonado on April 25 at UFC 186. The UFC has yet to release a statement on the situation.
