A report was released a couple of days ago from ESPN saying that the UFC was close to being sold for up to $4 billion.

According to the ESPN report, Zuffa has enlisted investment bank Goldman Sachs to help the company find a buyer. That was followed up by a tweet from Ariel Helwani that stated a company in China was interested.

Despite a number of outlets posting the report, UFC President and minority owner told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the ESPN story was far from the truth, “The UFC is not for sale. The ESPN story is overblown. Darren Rovell is not a fan of facts. His facts could not be further off.”
