It is uncommon for a high-caliber fighter to take a matchup two weeks out. It’s even more uncommon for a champion to step in on short notice to help out an already star-studded card. KSW welterweight champion, Roberto Soldic is doing just that. He will be taking on the tough Brazilian Vinicius Bohrer at an 80kg catchweight. KSW 46 is set to take place Saturday, December 01, 2018, from Gliwice, Poland and can be seen on kswtv.com.

The New Matchup

Soldic is coming off an impressive knockout of former champion Dricus Du Plessis at KSW 45 in October 2018. 13 of Soldic’s 14 victories have come by knockout. Look for Soldic to walk in the cage and go for the finish. This matchup is a “striker vs. grappler” style bout with 13 of Bohrer’s victories coming by way of submission. Both fighters will look to take the fight to their domain. The question will be who can impose their will and get the victory. It is a huge opportunity for Bohrer to earn a bigger name for himself and KSW and it is a chance for Soldic to solidify his name as a man up to fight anyone at any time.
