Speculations rose as to who would be promoting the return fight for Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. Well, it seems that mystery has been solved. Classic Entertainment & Sports (CES), parent company to CES MMA is set to promote and be matchmaker for the comeback fight between two of the sports superstars.
The news was first announced on Monday afternoon by Blaine Henry for MyMMANews.com.
CES to promote Tyson vs. Jones Jr.
The card is expected to take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California on September 12.
Tyson and Jones Jr. will face off in an eight-round exhibition match in the evening’s main event. In the co-main event, social media icon Jake Paul is expected to square off against former NBA player Nate Robinson. Expect more bouts to be announced as we get closer to the September 12 fight card. The card is expected to feature boxing, boxing vs. MMA, and live music.
The September 12 fight card will be broadcast exclusively on social media app, Triller. The social media app is also producing a ten-part series on Mike Tyson.
