On Saturday night, following UFC 253, UFC President Dana White had some serious comments about Conor McGregor. It didn’t take McGregor long to respond.
Earlier in the week, “Notorious” revealed texts between himself and White.

After you fought Pereira, I had requested for myself and you to compete in Dublin. This was back in February when I was working on opposition for my season, pre covid.

I was pushing hard for the season.
Multiple opponents, multiple dates offered throughout. All to take place back to back.

Dana White responded to Conor McGregor
After confirming his bout with Manny Pacquiao and sharing the texts, White responded at the UFC 253 post-fight press conference.
āListen, Iāve had people blowing me up left and right,ā White said. āI mean everybody here knows, even the ladies, this is some man code stuff. Itās just something you donāt do.
āItās one of the dirtiest things you can do, which by the way, because we were just talking about Diego Sanchez and Diego Sanchez is in there in a private conversation I was having with Conor. When youāre the No. 2 or 3 ranked guy in the world and youāre telling me that you want to fight but you want to fight unranked, 39-year-old Diego Sanchez in a main event in Los Angeles?ā
Well, McGregor didn’t take too well to White’s antics and once again took to Twitter to make his case crystal clear.
Code was broke when you lied about me turning down fights mate. I said Justin in May and you went and said I did not want to fight. Itās not about Diego. Diego was a filler to get more fights in.
