Event Information

GLORY 77 is set to kickoff at 1:00 pm EST. There is one fight on the preliminary card before the main card kicks off. Six fights will follow on the main card. Aside from the heavyweight tournament, headlining the card is a light heavyweight title fight between two of the sport’s best. Alex Pereira, perhaps most famous in MMA circles for knocking out Israel Adesanya in a kickboxing bout, will take on light heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov. Pereira, the current GLORY middleweight champion, hasn’t lost a fight in almost four years. Vakhitov, on the other hand, has won eight straight fights dating back to 2015.

The other men’s title fight at GLORY 77 is a welterweight title fight. On one side will be current welterweight champion Cedric Doumbe of France. He holds an 11-3 record in GLORY and has won six straight fights in the promotion. Across from Doumbe will be Murthel Greonhart. The top ranked welterweight challenger is 12-8 under the GLORY banner. This is the third time the two were slated to square off.

GLORY 77 will be streamed exclusively on pay-per-view. Links to purchase the event can be found on the promotion’s website.
