Legacy Fighting Alliance hosts its centennial event tonight with LFA 100, taking place at their regular site since the COVID-19 outbreak, Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas. LFA will certainly celebrate its success as one of the top organizations to scout for UFC talent, and look to continue in that endeavor with hopes that LFA 100 results in an exciting night of fights.

The event is headlined by a flyweight title match between one of the top flyweight prospects around in Victor Altamirano and Dana White Contender Series alum Nate Smith. Both fighters enter the fight with only one loss. The Mexican “El Magnifico” Altamirano is riding a two-fight winning streak into the fight after losing to UFC veteran Jarred Brooks via submission in October 2019. Twenty five year old wrestler Nate “The Savage” Smith returns after losing by submission to current UFC fighter Jimmy Flick at the Contender Series last season. Smith missed weight for this fight, so Altamirano is the only fighter eligible to win the title.

The co-main event also features a flyweight fight between undefeated Team Quest fighter Karlee Pangilinan and Tiger Muay Thai product Charles Johnson, who will return to MMA for the first time since 2018 after a couple of forays into other combat sports. Expect this fight to be fireworks, as both fighters have a penchant for finishing fights and are striking standouts.

The card opens with an amateur women’s strawweight fight that is being talked about for one reason. It is the MMA debut of Maria Henderson, wife of former UFC lightweight champion and current Bellator fighter Benson Henderson. If she fights anything like her husband, expect to see a lot of oblique kicks and takedowns as she takes onĀ Amanda Mitchell, who will also be making her MMA debut.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with the LFA 100 results tonight. The preliminary card starts 7:35pm ET/4:35pm PT on Facebook, with the main card following at 9pm ET/6pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
