Venum says this is a new era in combat sports apparel. With the new UFC Venum Fight Kits reveal, the official UFC store has also launched. The UFC Venum fight kits are designed with the athlete’s in mind; stylish fight week kits while also being flexible and functional meaning it’s meant to be comfortable from the workout to the walkout.

“VENUM is an Iconic combat sports brand that understands the unique needs of MMA athletes.” Dana White, UFC President, said, “Franck Dupuis and his team at VENUM have the technical knowledge and experience that will produce world-class UFC Fight Kits and apparel. We’re looking forward to collaborating with them on this next evolution of UFC’s outfitting program.”

The UFC Venum store also offers customization. One can add their own last name to their fight kits or the name of their favorite fighter. Clothing is offered in a range of colors: White, Black, or Champion (black and gold), among other options. Venum is offering sport-wear, jerseys, hats, pants, t-shirts, sports bras, shorts, and others. Both men’s and women’s apparel are available.

“As good as the Reebok product was, Venum has taken this up a notch,” UFC senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Lawrence Epstein continued, “With just the quality of construction [and] the thoughtfulness of how our athletes will use the products…We do feel the look and feel of the product itself is great for the UFC brand, but when it comes to cash it’s all going to the athletes, whether in actual cash or product.”

UFC, Venum, and Reebok

Before being the official apparel partner and making UFC Venum Fight Kits the company spent 15 years creating its sports brand. Venum has been making clothing apparel for combat sports since its founding in 2006. “We are both proud and grateful,” said Franck Dupuis, VENUM Founder and CEO, “As this agreement signifies the success of our journey over the past fifteen years. At VENUM, we are ecstatic to write the next chapter in our history.”

Reebok has been the official apparel partner of the UFC since 2014. Reebok has mixed reception since its launch; some fighters’ names were misspelled and underwhelming-looking clothing. It was announced in July 2020 that Venum would be the new clothing partner with the UFC, replacing Reebok. Fans were on the fence as to what this would mean, what the pay would look like, and what the clothing would look like. On April 1 of this year the Venum apparel pay was revealed, which was disparaged by fans for only being a small increase in fighter pay.
