After a week away, Combate Global returns tonight with Combate Global 21, a six-fight card coming to fight fans live from Univision Studios in Miami, Florida. In the main event, a bantamweight showdown between Leonardo Morales and John Sweeney will take place. Nicaragua’s “Chimmy” Morales was a finalist of TUF: Latin America Season 1, but a loss to Yair Rodriguez in the finale followed by a submission loss to Jose Quinonez marked the end of his UFC tenure. Most recently, Morales lost a majority decision to Jose Estrada in his Combate Global debut. “Hollywood” Sweeney, meanwhile, trains out of Upstate Karate alongside Stephen Thompson, and is sporting an 8-3 record. Most recently, he scored a 33-second KO victory at XMMA 2.

In the Combate Global 21 lightweight co-main event, “El Lupe” Jair Perez will take on “Shazam” Shaheen Santana. Mexico’s Perez has sandwiched two losses in between four total wins to start his career, including a unanimous decision victory in his last fight at Combate Global 13. MMA Masters product Santana most recently lost to Natan Levy last year on Dana White’s Contender Series, his first loss after seven straight wins to start his professional career.

Headlining the preliminary card is a bantamweight showdown between 12-2 Adam Briseno and LFA veteran Adam Martinez. Briseno makes his Combate Global debut tonight on the back of a decision win in July, while Martinez suffered a KO loss to former UFC contender Francisco Rivera his last time out.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with Combate Global 21 Results, happening live on Paramount+ and Univision beginning at 10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT.
