The UFC puts on back to back numbered events with UFC 268 rounding off a great few weeks for fight fans. The night is headlined by the welterweight grudge match between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. The card is stacked from top to bottom, so here are some UFC 268 betting tips to help you win big this weekend.

UFC 268 Betting Tips

Melsik Baghdasaryan to win via TKO/KO (+150)

Melsik Baghdasaryan (6-1) takes on Bruno Souza (10-1) in a battle between two future prospects. Both men have gone on surging streaks since losing their respective debuts, but who shall fall to two losses in their MMA career after Saturday night?

Ex LFA featherweight champion, Bruno Souza will be looking to establish himself as UFC material with a win over Baghdasaryan. Souza is a karate based practitioner, mentored by the great Lyoto Machida, and will be unlikely to press the grappling during this matchup. This favours Baghdasaryan who carries venomous power, particularly considering the fact that Souza has been defensively irresponsible on the feet throughout his MMA career. Baghdasaryan’s greatest faults lie in his cardio but considering the fact Souza is a late notice replacement for T.J Lamarie he may not be in prime condition to exploit this weakness.

Baghdasaryan himself is an incredibly dangerous striker. “The Gun” pushed K-1 champion Yata Kubo to his limit in their bout and has demonstrated outlandish power when he dispatched Collin Anglin in his UFC debut. Although Baghdasaryan is a fairly large favourite for the contest, considering he has won five of his six victories by way of knockout, sweetening the odds by backing him to finish Souza is a good bet. Therefore, Baghdasaryan via KO is the first choice of these UFC 268 betting tips.

Chris Barnett to win outright (+110)

Chris Barnett (21-7) will face Gian Villante (17-13) in what is the latter’s retirement bout. The heavyweights may not be championship material, but a tidy underdog bet may make the contest more palatable to watch.

Gian Villante made the move up to heavyweight after falling to a 2-4 skid at light heavyweight. Villante has not looked particularly good in the weight class, clearly looking like an out of shape light heavyweight. Furthermore, his last victory that was not a split decision comes all the way back in December 2016. The New Yorker is looking to earn his first win in the division after losing his first two.

Chris Barnett, on the other hand, has won six of his last seven bouts, albeit against a lower calibre of opponent. In his last bout, “Huggy Bear” was submitted by Ben Rothwell despite being competitive whilst the fight lasted. Barnett will have both a speed and power advantage coming into this one, and if Villante is not able to land a one-hitter-quitter, he should be able to claim the biggest scalp of his career. Therefore, Barnett is a very solid underdog pick for the event and is the second inclusion on these UFC 268 betting tips.
