ONE Championship puts on a compact six-fight serving of action on Friday, November 12th in ONE NextGen II. A title shot at the bantamweight Muay Thai championship is likely on the line in the headliner, with hard-hitting MMA, kickboxing, and Muay Thai bouts filling out the event. Keep it right here for ONE NextGen II results.
NextGen II’s main event sees ONE bantamweight Muay Thai number one contender Saempetch Fairtex battle Rittewada Petchyindee, who has over a hundred wins on Thailand’s Muay Thai circuit but has yet to fight in the ONE circle.
The co-main event features a lightweight MMA fight between Tang Kai and Yoon Chang Min. Kai (12-2) of Shanghai’s Dragon Gym has won all four of his ONE bouts, and looks to crack the top five with a win over Team Stun Gun’s Yoon (5-1). Yoon has never been to a decision in six fights, making the Tang-Yoon fight likely to leave one fighter on the canvas.
Two lightweight kickboxing World Grand Prix alternate fights take place in the middle of the card, as China’s Zhang Chunyu fights Dovydas Rimkas of Lithuania and Thailand’s Smokin’ Jo Nattawut battles Yurik Davtyan of Russia.
Elsewhere on the card, Malaysian brawler Agilan Thani locks up with Hiroyuki Tetsuka of Japan, while a gritty Muay Thai fight between Han Zihao and Victor Pinto kicks off the show.
