After coming out of retirement earlier this year, former women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate continues her comeback tour while MMASucka provides UFC Vegas 43 Results. In her second fight since returning to the cage, Tate will face off against Ketlen Vieira in Saturday’s main event.

UFC Vegas 43 Results – Main Event

Ketlen Vieira will be entering the fight with a record of 11-2. She made her UFC debut in 2016 after starting her career 6-0. Vieira quickly put together four straight wins in the octagon with wins over Kelly FaszholzAshlee Evans-SmithSara McMann, and Cat Zingano. Vieira suffered her first professional loss after her win over Zingano when Irene Aldana defeated her by knockout in their UFC 245 meeting. After that, she bounced back with a unanimous decision win over Sijara Eubanks before going on to lose to Yana Kunitskaya by unanimous decision in her last outing. Vieira looks to bounce back from the loss and pick up a huge win over former champion, Miesha Tate.

As for Tate, before she made her return from retirement earlier this year, she had gone 5-2 in her last seven outings. Tate kicked off a five fight win streak in 2014 that saw her pick up key wins over Liz Carmouche, Sara McMann, and Jessica Eye. She capped off the win streak by winning the bantamweight title after submitting Holly Holm at UFC 196. From that point, Tate would lose her next two straight before going into retirement. The first of those losses happened against Amanda Nunes as Nunes submitted Tate to capture the title at UFC 200. Nunes has held the title since then. Tate would then go on to suffer another loss at UFC 205 as Raquel Pennington defeated her by unanimous decision. Tate hopes to pick up her second straight win since coming out of retirement as she climbs towards the top of the division once again.

UFC Vegas 43 Results – Co-Main Event

In the night’s co-main event, welterweights face off as Michael Chiesa looks to get momentum back in division after a recent loss to Vicente Luque. Facing off against Chiesa in the co-main event will be the always dangerous, Sean Brady. Brady enters the fight with an undefeated record of 14-0 as he looks for his biggest win yet. He made his UFC debut in 2019 where he picked up a unanimous decision win over Court McGee. After that, Brady picked up another UD win over Ismail Naurdiev. In his last two fights, Brady has won both by submission as he first submitted Christian Aguilera before going on to finish Jake Matthews in his most recent outing.

As for Chiesa, he made his return to welterweight after a long stint at lightweight and quickly put together four straight wins. In his return fight in the division, Chiesa submitted Carlos Condit with a kimura in their UFC 232 meeting. Following that win, Chiesa won three straight unanimous decisions as he picked up victories over Diego SanchezRafael dos Anjos, and Neil Magny. Unforutnately, Chiesa’s four fight win streak was snapped in his last outing after a submission loss to Vicente Luque in their UFC 265 meeting. Cheisa looks to bounce back with a big win over Brady to stay among the top of the division.
