Showcasing the very best of Chinese MMA, JCK (JueChengKing) has taken over the MMA scene in China over the last year, hosting events every weekend. Their format features an enormous tournament in five weight classes, starting with 32 fighters each, working towards a one million yuan prize for the winner in each weight class. The capstone of the 2021 season is upon us, with MMASucka providing live JCK 2021 Finals results.

Cream of the Crop

The battle-tested fighters earning a spot in the finals started the JCK 2021 season both as veterans of the Chinese MMA scene and “unknowns” making their pro debuts. Buhuoyouga vs. Yin Shuai is a flyweight stylistic clash of a short-range bomber in Buhuoyouga vs. the pinpoint accuracy of Shuai’s long-range weapons. Luo Tianlong was 0-3 when he started the season, but then won every round, most notably against favorite Li Muha in the semifinals. Now 3-3, he will fight Li Haojie, a well-rounded MMA fighter with 25 fights on his record. Li most recently outwrestled another favorite in Du Lile in the semis.

At featherweight, Wang Jizheng fights Asikerbai Jinensibieke. Wang upset Li Jingtao in December with a teep kick that forced him to double over in pain, punching his ticket to fight Asikerbai. The Mongolian has over 35 pro fights and is currently on a nine-fight win streak. He is the clear favorite to win the tournament, but Wang has shown that he can not be underestimated.

The lightweight finals feature Mongolian veteran Yibugele against striker Yong Shun. Yibugele fought seven times in 2021, going 6-1. His opponent, Yong, is tough and will fight to the last bell, making this a close fight between two highly experienced fighters.

Also on the main card are the semifinals of the welterweight division, as young upstart Aorigele fights Wang Qi for a shot at finalist Ding Meng. Aorigele has been one of the success stories of the season, making his pro debut for JCK but blasting through all four opponents in the first round. Standing against him will be Wang Qi, who could be compared to a Chinese version of Robbie Lawler. He is versatile, hits hard, and pushes a hard pace. It should be a firecracker to open the main card, and the winner will fight Ding Meng in the early phases of the JCK 2022 season.
