Professional Fighters League’s President of Fighter Operations, Ray Sefo spoke on women’s competition:

On March 4th the women take center stage in The PFL Challenger Series and we couldn’t be more excited. We have seen the women in MMA take the leap into the main event. The PFL is a meritocracy and we cannot wait to further show the world what our women can do in the SmartCage.

The contestants scheduled to fight on this all-woman fight card are:

Cynthia Vescan, a French Olympic wrestler making her professional MMA debut. She competed in London in 2012, and is a two-time bronze medalist of the European Championships in 2018 and 2021.

Jackie Cataline Surber, an American wrestler will also be making her MMA debut. The former Olympic trials competitor and former Pan American champion will be a force to be reckoned with.

Julia Dorny from Germany has an unblemished 2-0 professional MMA record. Both wins came by the TKO. She has a Judo background and is the 2018 IMMAF world champion. In her spare time, she works as a television journalist and anchor.

Michelle Montague harnesses her MMA skills as a sparring partner for the PFL’s Kayla Harrison and former UFC women’s bantamweight champion and current women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes. She is a former IMMAF champion and was a member of the New Zealand wrestling team. She trains regularly in the City Kickboxing gym, along with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski. She also will be making her professional MMA debut.
