On Tuesday, ONE Founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced that the promotion is set to make “one of the biggest announcements” in its 10-plus year history.

Per sources close to the situation, the announcement is rumored to be details regarding the promotion’s much-anticipated foray into American soil. It is believed to be set to take place sometime in July and in American primetime. While a location has not been determined, Colorado is a potential landing spot since the state’s athletic commission approved ONE’s ruleset, which includes knees to a downed opponent, back in October. ONE executive and UFC Hall of Famer Rich Franklin has played an essential role in helping bring ONE to America in other aspects, including the aforementioned ruleset approval. With the approval, he speculated back then that Denver could be a potential first landing spot for the organization.

Last year, ONE had a series of live shows air in primetime on the American cable channel TNT from their base in Singapore. The cards were stacked to attract the American market in a focused effort to increase support from fans of the country.

It can be assumed that many of ONE’s American fighters will be featured on the card, including stars like Demetrious Johnson, Sage Northcutt, Eddie Alvarez, Jarred Brooks, and many more. MMA Sucka will keep fight fans up-to-date as more news on the announcement unfolds.
